Validate your RSS Feeds

After generating your RSS feed you need to make sure it works. Validating your RSS feeds is easy thanks to RSS feed validators. One of the best validators out there is Feed Validator. Using Feed Validator is totally problem free since all you need to do is type the link of your RSS file (.XML) into the empty box and click on the Validate button. Feed Validator will then tell you if your RSS feed is fine or if it needs working on. Other good RSS feed validators are RSS Validator, W3C Validator, Redland RSS 1.0 Validator, and RSS 1.0 Validator. Remember that syndicating an RSS feed is no use and will even harm your reputation since users might end up not wanting to subscribe to you next time even after your RSS feed works fine because they think that it might not.

Put a subscribe button on your webpage

A prominently placed subscribe button will surely encourage users to subscribe to your RSS feeds. Users who otherwise wouldn’t think of subscribing usually are encourage to do so when they see a subscribe button.
